Zane Simon, Eddie Mercado, and Victor Rodriguez return to breakdown this week’s Bellator fight card in Rosemont, IL. With a solid nod toward PFL’s season opener in Long Island, NY as well. With picks and odds for both main events.
Bellator and PFL return this week with a couple rock solid fight cards to compliment the UFC’s PPV in Brazil. Bellator will actually be going head-to-head with the UFC, delivering a featherweight vs. lightweight championship ‘superfight,’ as Patricio Pitbull moves up in weight to take on Michael Chandler. There’s a Welterweight Grand Prix second round bout between Douglas Lima and Michael ‘Venom’ Page in the co-main, and an old-lion-vs-young-lion fight between Pat Curran and AJ McKee Jr. to add some great depth to the card.
Over on the PFL side, Judoka Kayla Harrison returns against UFC vet Larissa Pacheco in the main event. 2018 welterweight finalists Magomed Magomedkarimov (who won the whole thing) and Ray Cooper III are both back in action as well. With notable vets John Howard, Sarah Kaufman, David Michaud, Chris Curtis, and a lot of other solid talent rounding out PFL’s first event of the 2019 season.
