Zane Simon, Victor Rodriguez, and Eddie Mercado are back to break down the opening event of Professional Fighters League’s 2018 season. With picks for every fight on the card.
It’s finally time for the rubber to meet the road in the rebranded former World Series of Fighting. Professional Fighters League, as the organization is now known, may have kicked off last summer, but this is the first time that they’ll be putting their new “season” format into action. The organization plans to hold 7 events over the next three months, followed by a 4 event “playoff” tournament, including a tournament champion event at the end of the year. They’ve got plenty of familiar names to get started, including Lance Palmer, Andre Harrison, Andre Galvao, Jared Rosholt, and Francimar Barroso. It should make for an interesting event, even if the card isn’t replete with fighters known for their action style.
