Bellator “London” will take place Sat., June 22, 2019 at SSE Arena in London, England. The long rumored card is finally starting to take shape with the revelation of a fight fans originally expected to see in January of this year.

Middleweight champion Gegard Mousasi (45-6-2) will put his title on the line against undefeated jiu-jitsu ace Rafael Lovato Jr. (9-0) for the main event of the London card. Mousasi’s last fight before this bout was a one-sided domination of Rory MacDonald as the Welterweight champ tried to move up to middleweight to claim two belts.

Just over a week earlier at Bellator 205, Lovato faced and defeated fellow contender John Salter with a rear-naked choke in round three, snapping Salter’s seven fight win streak. Salter had been undefeated in his Bellator MMA campaign until that point, so the winner was undeniably next in line for the winner of Mousasi vs. MacDonald.

Early reporting suggest that both Paul Daley and James Gallagher will have featured bouts on this card, but at press time no official announcement of opponents for either has been made by Bellator MMA.
