Bellator 200: “Carvalho vs. Mousasi” comes to SSE Arena in London, England, on May 25, 2018, featuring a main event that will see Middleweight champion Rafael Carvalho put his title on the line against former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and Strikeforce sensation Gegard Mousasi.
Earlier this week a new fight was added to the card even at this early date as Phil Davis vs. Linton Vassell was made official. Two-time No. 1 contender, Vassell (18-6, 1 NC), returns after a loss to Ryan Bader, looking to rebound in front of a home turf crowd as “The Swarm” hails from nearby Milton Keynes.
Former Light Heavyweight champion, Davis (18-4, 1 NC), had the home turf the same night Vassell lost his second title shot, defeating Leo Leite in the friendly confines of Penn State University. A win for Davis over Vassell could launch him back into contention for a possible third fight against “Darth” Bader.
