UFC veterans John Alessio and Josh Neer will no longer
face each other, but the pair will still co-headline Superior Cage Combat’s return to Las Vegas.
MMAjunkie.com has learned that Neer will face Blas
Avena (7-4), while Alessio meets Waachiim Spiritwolf (9-8-1) in the
featured bouts of Superior Cage Combat 2, which takes place Aug. 20
Orleans Arena at the Orleans Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.
An official announcement is expected shortly.
