With it’s second event set for November, the returning ProElite promotion has already inked a broadcast deal to televise the upcoming show live in North America.

On Monday night, MMAjunkie.com reported that the re-surging ProElite promotion had signed a deal with HDNet. The promotion formally announced a multi-fight deal with the broadcast company late Monday night in a press release.

“After watching their first event in Hawaii, I could see ProElite was a great fit for HDNet,” said Andrew Simon, CEO of HDNet Fights. “This upcoming card has the perfect mix of marquee names and an innovative Heavyweight tournament that fight fans won’t want to miss!”

“Our multi-fight agreement with HDNet elevates the ProElite brand to a national MMA audience with a preeminent broadcast partner,” said Paul Feller, President and CEO of Stratus Media Group and Chairman of ProElite. “This strategic partnership offers new opportunities for corporate sponsors and advertisers looking to reach this passionate and rapidly growing audience of ProElite fans.”

The upcoming ProElite 2 event is scheduled to take place on Nov. 5 at the iWireless Center in Moline, Illinois and will feature several heavyweight bouts on the card. Besides featuring an eight-man heavyweight tournament, former UFC champ Tim Sylvia will take on German fighter Andreas Kraniotakes, while another former UFC champ, Andrei Arlovski meets Travis Fulton on the card.

The ProElite promotion made their return to the mixed martial arts seen this past summer on August 27 with their ProElite 1 event in Honolulu featuring fighters such as Arlovski, Kendall Grove who took on Joe Riggs, and the pro debut of Reagan Penn, brother of BJ Penn.
