After several weeks on hiatus, thanks to the coronavirus pandemic that shut down most of the world, Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) makes its return to action this Sat. night (May 9, 2020) with UFC 249: “Ferguson vs. Gaethje” on ESPN+ from inside VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida.

As with any major pay-per-view (PPV) event, the promotion is rolling out its “Embedded” video blogs featuring a behind-the-scenes look at fight week preparations, which are drastically different for UFC 249 with social distancing, travel restrictions, and logistical challenges that are to be expected during a global crisis.

Nevertheless, 155-pound headliners Tony Ferguson and Justin Gaethje are featured in Ep. 1 of “Embedded” ahead of their interim lightweight title fight, alongside co-main event bruiser Francis Ngannou. “The Predator” collides with heavyweight “Bigi Boy” Jairzinho Rozenstruick.
