“I thought I told you to sit down and wait your turn Jonny? Stipe can not avoid me any longer.”
Jon Jones is ‘slowly but surely’ making a transition to heavyweight, but top contender Francis Ngannou wants the former two-time light heavyweight champion to know that he won’t be skipping the line to challenge Stipe Miocic for the heavyweight title anytime soon.
Ngannou told Jones to ‘sit down’ and wait his turn in response to ‘Bone’s’ recent video post of a heavyweight-inspired workout.

“I thought I told you to sit down and wait your turn Jonny? Stipe can not avoid me any longer. #UNCROWNEDCHAMP,” Ngannou posted on Twitter earlier this week.
Ngannou is expected to challenge Miocic for the heavyweight title later this year, but Miocic recently stated that a rematch with Ngannou isn’t particularly exciting for him.
“Francis isn’t exciting to me, already put on a 25 minute clinic on how to beat him. Want a new challenge!”
Miocic beat Ngannou to retain his heavyweight title in 2018 but ‘The Predator’ has since rebounded with four straight knockout victories over Curtis Blaydes, Cain Velasquez, Junior dos Santos and Jairzinho Rozenstruik, finishing all men inside the first round.
UFC president Dana White has stated that Ngannou is next in line for a title shot but claims Jones will receive an immediate title shot in his heavyweight debut.
