Undefeated New Yorker Nick Pace is WEC bound.
The bantamweight will step in for Clint Godfrey to
face Demetrious Johnson at WEC 51, which takes place
Sept. 30 at the 1STBANK Center in Broomfield, Colo.
WEC officials announced the event today via Twitter, though the reason
for Godfrey’s removal was not disclosed, and the fighter could not
immediately be reached by MMAjunkie.com.
