Nine countries will be represented during the second season of The Ultimate Fighter: Latin America, including Spain.
The UFC made its 16-man cast official Wednesday in a press release. TUF Latin America 2 will consist of welterweights and lightweights and be coached by TUF alums Kelvin Gastelum and Efrain Escudero. The finalists in each weight division will fight each other at a UFC event later this year. The winners will earn UFC contracts.
TUF Latin America has already started filming in Mexico. It will air in the United States on UFC Fight Pass, but a premiere date has not been set. TUF Latin America will also be broadcast on television in places like Mexico, Bolivia, Nicaragua, Honduras, Panama, Paraguay, Chile, Peru and Venezuela.
The second season casts features fighters from Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, Panama, Chile, Nicaragua, Honduras, Spain and Argentina.
