No UFC title shot, no big bother for former champ Lyoto Machida’s camp

Lyoto Machida manager Ed Soares is disappointed that his fighter won’t get the next shot at the light heavyweight title, but not overly bent out of shape.

The way he sees it, the title shot was a welcomed bonus, not an expectation.

“Whatever the UFC wants is fine,” Soares told MMAjunkie.com. “I’m not tripping on that.”
