It was widely expected, but the next three events that the UFC wanted to run in June have been approved in Nevada.

The UFC has been working on getting its schedule back to normal, coronavirus or not. That involves basically running an event a week, and the promotion had scheduled shows for each Saturday night in June. One had already been approved by the Nevada State Athletic Commission, and went off without a hitch on June 6th.

Now, their next three events are good to go as well.

The Nevada Commission unanimously approved a proposal to run events on June 13th, 20th, and 27th at UFC Apex and those will go ahead as scheduled, barring any future complications.

The June 13th event will be headlined by a women’s flyweight fight between Jessica Eye and Cynthia Calvillo. The June 20th show will see Alexander Volkov face off with Curtis Blaydes. On June 27th, an ESPN-aired show is expected to see Dustin Poirier make his much-anticipated return against Dan Hooker.

As mentioned, all three shows will take place at UFC Apex and will not have any fans in the building. After the end of June, it appears that the promotion will be moving to Fight Island (aka Yas Island in Abu Dhabi) to run events in July. That will kick off with UFC 251 on July 11th, which will feature three title fights.
