Horrifying rape allegations have surfaced in Norman, OK involving members of a local high school wrestling team.
The local CBS affiliate in Oklahoma reports four students have been accused of sexually assaulting two other students as they were returning from a wrestling tournament this past January 9th.
According to Norman North High School officials the alleged attacks happened on the team bus. An 18-year-old, a 17-year-old and a 16-year-old were each charged with three counts of rape by instrumentation. Another 17-year-old was charged with one count. The victims are 16 and 12 years old.
A coach and an adjunct coach have been suspended as well as several team members.
According to reports from KWTV, “Three of those charged each assaulted the 16-year-old at the back of the bus by restraining him and using their fingers to sexually assault the boy over his clothing. The 12-year-old victim was allegedly physically restrained and pulled towards the back of the bus, where he was subjected to the same form of assault by digital penetration, only this time the suspects put a condom on their fingers before doing so.”
“When the bus arrived back at Norman North, the 12-year-old was assaulted again; once in a secluded area on the side of the building and again between two vehicle in the parking lot when the victim briefly escaped. According to the report, the assault only ended when the 12-year-old boy’s parent arrived at the school.”
