Welterweights Alex Oliveira and Nicholas Dalby are set to meet at UFC Copenhagen, in Denmark, on September 28.
Nicolas Dalby will return to the Octagon to fight in his own turf. Per UFC Europe’s official Twitter account, a welterweight bout between the always entertaining Alex Oliveira and ‘Lokomotivo’ himself is set for the UFC Copenhagen card, in September.

In desperate need of a win, Alex Oliveira (19-7-1-2 NC) dropped a unanimous decision to Mike Perry in his last outing, in April, and was tapped out by Gunnar Nelson via rear-naked choke prior to that in December 2018. In fact, the 31-year-old’s last win happened in September 2018, when he knocked out Carlo Pedersoli Jr. in just 39 seconds.
Back for his second Octagon stint, Nicolas Dalby (17-3-1-1 NC) was released from the promotion following consecutive unanimous decision losses to Zak Cummings, in April 2016, and Peter Sobotta, in September of the same year. Overall, he left the UFC with a 1-2-1 record, defeating Elizeu Zaleski via split decision and fighting Darren Till to a majority draw.
On the European regional circuit, however, the 34-year-old quickly gathered three wins, one loss and one No Contest following his release, with all victories coming by way of knockout or submission, which earned Dalby a second chance in the UFC.
The UFC Copehagen card is set to be headlined by a middleweight bout between contenders Jack Hermansson and Jared Cannonier on September 28th.
