ONE Championships
One Championship just wrapped up Part 1 and Part 2 of it’s Century celebration event in Tokyo, Japan with a wild main event fight between light heavyweight champ Aung La Nsang and former UFC fighter and ONE heavyweight champ Brandon Vera.
The two engaged in a wild brawl that came to a climax in round two with Nsang hitting Vera with a spinning elbow. Vera tried to return the favor but ended up against the cage on the canvas instead, where Nsang unleashed a volley of strikes that forced the ref to stop things at 3:23. Watch the finish here:

Part 1 saw Demetrious Johnson crowned as the ONE Flyweight tournament champion with a decision win over Danny Kingad. While Johnson couldn’t lock up a finish the fight was a crazy scramble fest that once again showed why he’s considered one of the best mixed martial artists in the world by those in the know. Next up for “Mighty Mouse” is a fight with ONE flyweight champ Adriano Moraes

But it was women in the main event spot for part one with atomweight champ Angela Lee taking revenge against Xiong Jing Nan with a late fifth round rear naked choke submission with just 12 seconds left on the clock. It was a back and forth battle between the two and the finish saved Lee from an uncertain fate on the judges’ scorecards.
