The ONE Fighting Championship promotion has certainly made inroads into the mixed martial arts market having put on six events in it’s first year. Despite having cancelled a December show in Malaysia, the promotion is set to return this February according to promotion CEO Victor Cui.

Cui broke the news to MMA Fighting explaining that ONE FC would return on November 2, 2013 at the Putra Indoor Stadium in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The event marks the second visit by ONE FC to the Malaysian city and will visit the 16,000 seat Putra Indoor Stadium, a more modern facility than when the promotion visited the Stadium Negara this past June, a facility built in 1962.

Cui did not release any information on matchups for the event but did note that the show “would mark the beginning of an eight-man flyweight Grand Prix tournament which would crown the division’s first-ever champion.”

ONE FC will look to double the amount of shows for 2013 by hosting 12-14 events throughout Asia.

On Wednesday, the promotion announced also that it had reached a deal with Glory Sports International to share fighters for future events, with Bibiano Fernandes and Shinya Aoki expected to appear at the end year DREAM-Glory show on New Year’s Eve.
