ONE Fighting Championship: Rise of Kings is expected to take place on October 6, 2012 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium in Kallang, Singapore. The event will also feature another title match as the promotion looks to name it’s first featherweight champion as Eric Kelly takes on Honorio Banario. While lightweights Shinya Aoki and Arnaud Lepont square off in the main event.

Issa won their first meeting, earning a unanimous decision at the first ONE FC event one year ago. The submission ace trains in Singapore with the Evolve MMA team and has a seven fight win streak under his belt. The Brazilian earned a decision against Masakazu Imanari this past June at the ONE FC: Destiny of Warriors event in Malaysia for his last fight.

Kim has won two in a row himself but is just 2-3 over his last five matches. The twenty-year-old fighter already has ten pro-matches under his belt and was in action just a few weeks ago at the ONE FC: Pride of a Nation event where he earned a unanimous decision against Kevin Bleingon. His other victory came in June at a Road FC 8 event in Korea, a TKO finish of opponent Shoko Sato.
