The Asian based ONE Fighting Championship promotion announced the dates for three events on Monday in locations across South Asia.
The first date, and the promotions second event ever, was announced for February 11th, 2012 at the BritAma Arena in North Jakarta, Indonesia. Then a month-and-a-half later, ONE FC 3 will take place on March 31st at the Singapore Indoor Stadium in Kallang, Singapore, returning the site of the promotions first event. And lastly, ONE FC 4 is scheduled for April 27th at the Stadium Negara in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The ONE FC promotion is run by former Martial Combat promoter Victor Cui, who is looking to make his promotion the “UFC” of Asia.
The first event, ONE FC: Champion vs. Champion took place last month on September 3rd at the Singapore Indoor Stadium featuring a number of fighters from around Asia and the world. The event was certainly hailed as a success and as it’s notoriety grows it’s ability to draw bigger names will certainly help Cui’s plan to capture the Asian market.
