ONE: “For Honor” is set for Istora Senayan in Jakarta this Friday (May 3, 2019) and is headlined by a Muay Thai title fight. The card also features former UFC and WSOF title challenger Yushin Okami and former ONE featherweight champion Marat Gafurov.

Local interest will be provided by the presence of Priscilla Hertati Lumban Gaol, Paul Lumihi and Sunoto with the latter being thrown together in a clash between the country’s two top bantamweights.

Here’s my preview of the bottom half of the card:

125 lbs.: Guntur vs. Angelo Bimoadji

It is difficult to assess Angelo Bimoadji (0-1) based on a ONE Championship debut that lasted under a round. He was taken down almost instantly by Adrian Mattheis and never got up again.

No information available on Guntur, who makes his pro debut.

125 lbs.: Adrian Mattheis vs. Himanshu Kaushik

Adrian Mattheis (7-4) has won four out of his last five fights inside the ONE Championship cage although the wins have not come at the expense of elite opposition.

Himanshu Kaushik (5-3) is coming off a win over an Indonesian fighter. After being completely outmatched in his first two ONE Championship fights, the Indian wushu specialist scored a big stoppage last time out.

145 lbs.: (Muay Thai) Andrew Miller vs. Mohammed Bin Mahmoud

The ONE Super Series matchmakers seem to have a soft spot for Mohammed Bin Mahmoud. This will be the fourth time in eight months he has featured on a card.

That experience could be key against Andrew Miller who was knocked out in under a minute in his only ONE Super Series bout to date.

135 lbs.: Rudy Agustian vs. Chan Rothana

Rudy Agustian (7-2) has won three fights out of three since signing for ONE Championship last year. The Indonesian is a submission specialist and getting this fight down will be vital.

Chan Rothana (5-3) made his ONE Championship debut in 2014 and comes from a striking background. This will be striker vs. grappler, as is the case pretty much any time these two nations meet in MMA competition.

145 lbs.: (Muay Thai) Kenta Yamada vs. Deividas Danyla

Kenta Yanmada was very unfortunate to drop a decision to Petchmorrakot Wor Sang Prapai. He was able to stand and trade with the Thai veteran for the full three rounds, even if his opponent was badly handicapped by being unable to clinch or elbow.

Deividas Danyla also dropped a decision to Hiroaki Suzuki although this one was more clear cut. He’s comfortable fighting both orthodox and southpaw and will switch constantly during the fight.

155 lbs.: Keanu Subba vs. Ryogo Takahashi

Keanu Subba (7-3) signed for ONE Championship at a young age and has experience beyond his years. He’s coming off back-to-back wins against good opponents but faces another step up here.

Ryogo Takahashi (11-3) is a former Shooto featherweight champion who has been in with some of the top Japanese fighters in the division. There’s not much footage out there of his fights though.

145 lbs.: Dae Hwan Kim vs. Ayideng Jumayi

Dae Hwan Kim (14-4-1) is a bit of an enigma, the Muay Thai specialist with more submission wins than TKOs. He was comprehensively outwrestled last time out by Shuya Kamikubo but faces a different challenge here.

Ayideng Jumayi (17-4-1) has been on the scene for a long time, he’s consistently been beating very solid opponents since 2011. The Chinese fighter likes to constantly move forwards and attack with right hands and takedowns.

The entire ONE: “For Honor” fight card will be available to view live and free in some territories using the newly launched app which you can download here. In the U.S. it will be streamed on B/R Live.
