UFC President Dana White is no stranger to getting ambushed by disgruntled fighters in Las Vegas, but in the case of celebrity boxer Jake Paul, White may end up joining this poor sap in the YouTube hall of fame.
That’s because Paul has one-punch knockout power (just ask this guy) and believes all the trash White has been talking over the last few months (sample it here) will earn him the social media hands of justice.
“He’s trying to discredit what I’m doing,” Paul said during media workouts. “One moment he loves Tyron Woodley and he’s a five-time UFC champion and Dana White’s saying, ‘He’s one of the greatest welterweights ever.’ And then, boom, 12 months later he sucks, Jake Paul’s fighting him, blah blah blah. He’s just trying to discredit anything that I do. Which, of course, that’s what I would do if I was in his position, he’s a smart guy. I think it ends with me running into him at a club in Vegas and me knocking him the fuck out.”
Paul will first have to dispose of former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley, no stranger to personal beefs with White. They’re scheduled to throw hands this Sunday night (Aug. 29, 2021) inside Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland, Ohio.
As for White, he won’t have to do anything but wait for Paul to lose and promptly fade from the celebrity boxing scene. Unless, of course, the 24 year-old “Problem Child” keeps knocking out former UFC fighters and “affecting his business.”
