It looks like Paul Felder and Edson Barboza are going to war with each other once again.
Back in July of 2015, Paul Felder and Edson Barboza battled on a UFC on Fox show. Barboza came out on top via unanimous decision in that bout, and they earned themselves a performance bonus for their efforts.
On September 7th in Abu Dhabi, Felder will get his chance for revenge.
MMA Junkie is reporting that the two men will rematch at UFC 242. The bout hasn’t been officially announced by the UFC as of yet.
Felder (16-4, 8-4 UFC) is coming off a decision win over James Vick following a one-fight sojourn at welterweight. He is currently ranked as the number ten contender at 155 pounds.
Barboza (20-7-, 14-7 UFC) hasn’t had the best run of late, but it was against top competition. He has just one win in his last four bouts, over Dan Hooker, and dropped fights to Khabib Nurmagomedov, Kevin Lee, and Justin Gaethje. The nine-time bonus winner is currently ranked as the number seven contender at lightweight.
UFC 242 will be headlined by a lightweight title unification bout between Nurmagomedov and Dustin Poirier.
