“Think about it, this will be the greatest upset in the history of sports, ever.”
Logan Paul is hoping for a miracle against Floyd Mayweather Jr. on Feb. 20, as the renowned YouTuber and part-time boxer says a win over the boxing legend would be ‘the greatest upset in the history of sports’.
Paul, who will take on Mayweather in a ‘super exhibition’ at a TBD location, gave his thoughts on the matchup in a recent episode of his podcast, Impaulsive.
The 0-1 boxer will be looking for the KO and says a win over ‘The Best Ever’ would be remembered for thousands of years to come.
“Think about it, this will be the greatest upset in the history of sports, ever. Ever. It is a win-win situation it doesn’t even matter what f*****g happens,” Paul said (h/t BJPenn.com). “But, you can bet your ass I’m going for the knockout. They would talk about this for the next 1000 years. I can’t believe that Floyd took this fight. I can’t f*****g believe Floyd took this fight. Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather.”
“You would be lying if you said it was impossible. Everyone wants to watch a miracle, everyone wants to watch a f*****g miracle. And, on February 20, I have an opportunity, for whatever reason the God’s have blessed me with, to pull this off. You can bet your bottom dollar I will do everything in my power to make it happen.”
Paul’s younger brother Jake Paul recently fought Nate Robinson at the Mike Tyson vs. Roy Jones Jr. pay-per-view, earning a highlight reel victory after face-planting the NBA star in the second round. The event is estimated to have earned a whopping 1.6 million PPV buys, so it’s hardly surprising to see Mayweather accept the bout with elder brother Logan, who has over 22.6 million subscribers on his YouTube channel.
