A welterweight matchup between Paulo Thiago and David Mitchell has been targeted for August’s UFC 134 event.
Thiago confirmed the matchup up with Sherdog, and MMAjunkie.com since has confirmed it with sources close to both fighters.
UFC 134, originally announced as “UFC: Rio,” takes place Aug. 27 at HSBC Arena in Rio de Janeiro and marks the UFC’s first Brazil event since 1998.
