Ultimate Fighter (TUF) season 27 winner, Luis Pena, has inked a brand new four-fight deal with Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), and is gearing up for his return on Feb., 29, 2020.
Indeed, “Violent Bob Ross” took to social media to announce the new deal, as well as his comeback fight against Alex Munoz, which is set to go down at UFC Fight Night 169 on Feb. 29, in Norfolk, Virginia.
Since winning TUF in 2018, Pena has gone 2-2 inside the Octagon and was last seen coming up short against Matt Frevola, losing a razor-thin split decision to “The Steamrolla” at UFC Fight Night 161 last October. Prior to that, Luis had won two straight against Matt Wiman and Steven Peterson.
Munoz, meanwhile, will be making his UFC debut after defeating Nick Newell on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series (DWTNCS) via unanimous decision last July. Undefeated at 6-0, the 29-year old is a product of Team Alpha Male (TAM) and is looking to make a splash in his first official bout inside the Octagon.
UFC Norfolk is set to be headlined by a Flyweight title fight as Joseph Benavidez and Deiveson Figueiredo will collide for the vacant strap left behind by former champ-champ, Henry Cejudo.
