Reigning Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) flyweight champion Deiveson Figueiredo will defend his 125-pound strap against No. 4-ranked contender Alex Perez in the UFC 255 pay-per-view (PPV) main event TONIGHT (Sat., Nov. 21, 2020) inside the promotion’s APEX facility in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Figueiredo (19-1) captured the crown by smashing Joseph Benavidez at the UFC Fight Night 172 event back in July, in what amounted to his fourth straight victory (and third straight finish). As for Perez (24-5), he recently notched three in a row by stopping longtime flyweight veteran Jussier Formiga last June.
