Waking up dead is the new “living death.”

I think the first rule of being dead is that you don’t wake up, so perhaps UFC welterweight Mike Perry is preparing to become a zombie or something. And since zombies communicate by groaning unintelligibly, it should be a fairly easy transition for “Platinum.”

That said, Perry doesn’t want to leave anything to chance. That’s why he’s saying goodbye to all of his honeys and bitches on Twitter. After all, the way the coronavirus pandemic has gripped the nation these last few weeks, the future is becoming harder to predict.

“If I wake up dead tomorrow for any reason I just want it to be known that each lil’ honey that ever showed me love & kindness have a spot in my heart,” Perry wrote, before adding a bunch of kissy-face emojis. “I appreciated all the moments we shared together! I love you bitches!”

Perry (13-6) brings an exciting style to the cage and always goes for broke, but has yet to establish himself as a legitimate contender at 170 pounds. The “Platinum” welterweight has dropped three of his last four and got finished twice along the way.
