Joanna Jedrzejczyk is sharing pics of her potentially broken foot following her five round win over Michelle Waterson and it’s pretty gnarly.
Joanna Jedrzejczyk sure did look happy after her UFC Tampa performance against Michelle Waterson. The Polish ex-champ outstruck Waterson 226 to 71 over five rounds, earning a 50–45, 50–45, and 49–46 scores from the judges (watch the highlights here). But you may have also noticed Joanna limping during her victory lap and saying something about a broken foot.
Backstage, she explained that she thought she’d broken it sometime near the end of the second round.
”In the fifth round I felt pain, but then I was like f**k it, what worse can happen?” she told media during the post-event media scrum. “I’m going to break it into three pieces and they’re gonna put it back together.”
Welp, here’s step one of putting it back together: Jedrzejczyk is currently sharing photos from the hospital as she awaits x-rays to confirm her diagnosis.
This is how @joannamma’s right foot looks a day after her win last night. She is currently awaiting X-Ray results on both feet, her team tells me. The belief is she injured her right foot by the third round. pic.twitter.com/8wK65VIDqm

While we don’t know yet if one (or both!) feet are broken, her right foot certainly doesn’t look good. Well, the nails look great. The surrounding mangled flesh? Eeeeeh.
Jedrzejczyk claims she’s definitely fighting current strawweight champ Weili Zhang next, just as soon as her foot heals up. What do you think, Maniacs? Does Joanna deserve a title shot based off this latest win?
