British favorite Darren Till will battle Jorge Masvidal in the main event of today’s (Sat., March 16, 2019) UFC on ESPN+ 5 from the O2 Arena in London, England. It’s Ben Askren who could be taking over the show, however.
The undefeated wrestler hosted a fan Q&A in London yesterday, which Till attempted to interrupt. ‘Funky’ reacted to the attention-grabbing scene by calling it funny. Following his controversial submission over Robbie Lawler at UFC 235, Askren said he would go to Great Britain and call out the winner of Till vs. Masvidal.
The outspoken former Bellator and ONE champion had been going back and forth with Till on social media for some time. One of Till’s favorite insults to throw at ‘Funky’ was to call him a “
