Along with a spiffy new preview video…
We’re a little over a month away for the much-anticipated lightweight title fight between division champion Rafael dos Anjos and featherweight champion Conor McGregor, which is set to pop off from inside MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, on March 5, 2016.
And Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) officials are’t wasting any time rolling out the promo videos for the upcoming “super fight,” like this one. “Notorious” will look to become the first fighter to ever hold two separate titles in different division simultaneously after crushing Jose Aldo at UFC 194 last December (see it).
His conquest won’t be easy, though, as Rafael has been on quite a tear, winning five in a row, including his first-round destruction of Donald Cerrone at UFC on FOX 17 last December.
The good news is, the boys (and girls) down in marketing are finally hooking him up with a poster that features his featherweight title, even though the 145-pound strap won’t be up for grabs.
The poster people got the memo from .@TheNotoriousMMA – new poster complete with belts & champion vs champion on it. pic.twitter.com/PkRghryd2r
