T.J. Dillashaw is looking like a true flyweight ahead of his date with Henry Cejudo at UFC Brooklyn.
T.J. Dillashaw is taking his flyweight debut seriously.
The current UFC bantamweight champion showed off a ridiculously slimmed down physique ahead of his UFC flyweight title shot against Henry Cejudo at UFC Brooklyn.
“Killer workout last night with my crew!” Dillashaw captioned Friday’s Instagram post. An absolutely shredded Dillashaw, devoid of almost any visible fat, was photographed alongside coach Duane Ludwig, Bellator bruiser Juan Archuleta (21-1), and Gracie Barra head instructor Philipe Della Monica.
Dillashaw’s flyweight frame may ease concerns over his ability to make the 125-pound championship limit. The former Team Alpha Male product has had flyweight ambitions ever since he and former champion Demetrious Johnson stoked the flames last year. Dillashaw, 32, and Cejudo, 31, both left UFC 227 in August with a championship around their waists.
Dillashaw challenges newly-crowned champion Henry Cejudo on January 19th. The promotion’s inaugural event on ESPN+ includes noteworthy bouts such as Gregor Gillespie vs. Yancy Medeiros, Donald Cerrone vs. Alexander Hernandez, Joseph Benavidez vs. Dustin Ortiz, and the controversial UFC debut of Greg Hardy.
