I know I’m hard on UFC for some of its posters, which can border on “10th grade graphic design class,” but every now and again they get it right. Look no further than today’s offering for the UFC 237 pay-per-view (PPV) event, taking place Sat., May 11, 2019 inside Jeunesse Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Yes, it’s airing exclusively on ESPN+.
UFC 237 will be headlined by the five-round strawweight title fight pitting reigning 115-pound champion, Rose Namajunas, against former division title contender and hometown hero, Jessica Andrade. Elsewhere on the card, former middleweight champion, Anderson Silva, tries to get back into the win column against the rough-and-tumble Jared Cannonier.
In addition, former featherweight champion, Jose Aldo, looks to win his third straight at the expense of rising 145-pound phenom, Alex Volkanovski. And let’s not forget the return of Antonio Rogerio Nogueira!
