Brian Ortega will look to get back on track when he travels all the way to Busan, South Korea to face Chan Sung Jung in the main event of UFC Fight Night 165 on Dec. 21, 2019, and now, UFC has released the poster for the UFC on ESPN+-streamed event.
“T-City” suffered the first loss of his professional career last December after losing via fourth round technical knockout (doctor stoppage) to Featherweight champion, Max Holloway. Ortega has been riding the pine ever since getting his health right, and now he is looking to return with a vengeance against one of the most exciting fighters in the history of mixed martial arts (MMA).
As for “The Korean Zombie,” he is in search of back-to-back wins after starching Renato Moicano in his last outing, knocking out the Brazilian prospect in under a minute (see it again here). Prior to that, Jung suffered a last-second knockout loss to Yair Rodriguez.
In the co-headlining act, Volkan Oezdemir will face Aleksandar Rakic in Light Heavyweight action, while Doo Ho Choi returns to face Charles Jourdain at 145 pounds.
