Reigning UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya expected to weigh just 193 pounds for his light heavyweight title fight against Jan Blachowicz, scheduled for the UFC 259 pay-per-view (PPV) main event tomorrow night (Sat., March 6, 2021) at APEX in Las Vegas.

That “Stylebender” … such a card.

Adesanya actually tipped the scale at 200.5 pounds, which is 4.5 pounds under the championship limit. As for Blachowicz, who needs to cut weight to make the light heavyweight mark, he came in at an even 205 pounds.

In addition to the Blachowicz vs. Adesanya main event, 145-pound titleholder Amanda Nunes (145) and opponent Megan Anderson (144.5) were both on weight for their featherweight affair. So too, were bantamweight champion Petr Yan (135) and top contender Aljamain Sterling (134.5).
