Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) headliner and former UFC welterweight Mike Perry was arrested and charged with Driving Under the Influence (DUI) last weekend in Lake County, Florida.
Perry, who was also popped for refusing to sign a citation, was released from Clermont Police Department after posting $1,500 bond, according to MMA Junkie.
Perry, who turned 33 just last month, has been a fixture on the bareknuckle boxing scene after parting ways with UFC back in early 2021. “Platinum” attempted to join the “sweet science” against Jake Paul last July, but was stopped by “El Gallo” in the sixth round.
The loss, his second as a pro boxer, resulted in a 60-day suspension.
Perry remains undefeated for BKFC, racking up five straight wins with three knockout victories. That includes his laugher over fellow UFC export (and one-time title challenger) Thiago Alves last April in Los Angeles.
“Platinum” has yet to comment on his latest legal hiccup.
