American Top Team (ATT) might want to beef up its security personnel, because Dustin Poirier is on the warpath. The former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) interim Lightweight title contender took to social media to warn Colby Covington that when their paths cross at the famed gym, punches will be thrown.

No if’s, ands or buts.

“When i see you again at the gym @colbycovmma it’s on site,” wrote “The Diamond” on Instagram. “I promise you.”

Poirier is understandably upset after “Chaos” mocked him for showing raw emotion during the UFC 242 post-fight press conference (see it) after he came up short in his bid to take down Khabib Nurmagomedov in Abu Dhabi (highlights).

According to Colby, Poirier was simply putting on an Emmy-worthy act for the cameras.

But Dustin’s and Colby’s beef didn’t start there, as “The Diamond” didn’t take too kindly to Covington’ bashing fellow ATT comrade, Jorge Masvidal, repeatedly in the media, saying he wouldn’t sell out like Colby has for likes and headlines.

To hear Covington tell it, he and Dustin were never friends and haven’t trained together in some time. But since they are still both a part of ATT, they are bound to run into each other sooner or later. Speaking of Masvidal, he also invited Covington — his ex-best friend — to meet him at his gym to settle their differences.

While beefs inside the gym among training partners isn’t anything new, most of the time its kept under wraps. But since Colby has no issue with slamming his teammates in public, they are now returning the favor.
