Don’t shoot the messenger. Or the translator, in this case.

Top-ranked featherweight contender, Brian Ortega, blew a gasket at the UFC 248 pay-per-view (PPV) event last weekend in Las Vegas, Nevada, slapping Korean pop star, Jay Park, in retaliation for comments made by 145-pound rival, Chan Sung Jung.

And now “T-City” will have to answer to the fuzz.

“Both teams were contacted prior to last night’s event and were asked by the UFC to be respectful and to not have any confrontations,” Jung’s manager, Jason House, told MMA Junkie. “Our team respected the UFC’s request and maintained our professionalism throughout the night. Police reports were filed immediately after the incident occurred and now it’s a matter for law enforcement officials to handle.”

Ortega was booted from the arena following the attack.

The fact that “T-City” waited for Jung to hit the T-Mobile latrine before making a scene left a lot of fans scratching their heads. Perhaps Ortega didn’t realize “The Korean Zombie” was on bladder detail until he got there and just felt like sending a message.

“You are such a coward for slapping a musician not a fighter,” Jung wrote on Instagram. “If you fucking planned this to fight me and to use my name because people don’t remember your name anymore, then I congratulate you, it worked.”

The sooner these two get rebooked, the better.
