Derek Brunson and Darren Till are set to throw hands in the UFC Vegas 36 middleweight main event, taking place TONIGHT (Sat., Sept. 4) inside APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada, a 185-pound showdown with serious title implications.
The recently-resurgent Brunson (22-7) has enjoyed the role of spoiler over the last few years, putting together four straight wins and shutting down a couple of top prospects in the process, including Edmen Shahbazyan and Kevin Holland, among others.
Till (18-3-1), meanwhile, still has some work to do to prove he belongs among the middleweight elite. After capturing a split decision over Kelvin Gastelum at UFC 244, the 18-3-1 “Gorilla” went down on points to Robert Whittaker in the UFC on ESPN 14 main event.
