Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) returns to the pay-per-view (PPV) market TONIGHT (Sat., June 6, 2020) with the UFC 250: “Nunes vs. Spencer” mixed martial arts (MMA) event from inside UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada, headlined by the women’s featherweight title fight between Amanda Nunes (champion) and Felicia Spencer (challenger).
Nunes (19-4), who also wears gold at 135 pounds, has pretty much murdered the competition in both weight classes, racking up 10 straight wins with seven violent finishes. That includes knockout victories over Ronda Rousey, Cris Cyborg, and Holly Holm, just to name a few.
As for Spencer (8-1), she’s no stranger to the best the featherweight division has to offer, having already gone toe-to-toe with 145-pound smashing machine, Cris Cyborg, back at UFC 240. While she came up short on the judges’ scorecards, “FeeNom” is one of the few fighters to lose to the Brazilian without getting knocked into next week.
