In the third and final of three UFC 245 title fights, reigning women’s bantamweight champion, Amanda Nunes, will go to war with top-ranked 135-pound contender, Germaine De Randamie, in their five-round showdown later tonight (Sat., Dec. 14, 2019) inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, in what is perhaps the promotion’s most decorated line up of the year.

Nunes (18-4) has not tasted defeat since Cat Zingano pounded her out at UFC 178 in fall of 2014. Since then, “Lioness” has gone on to capture nine in a row with seven violent finishes. The only fighter to make her look human during that span is reigning flyweight champion, Valentina Shevchenko.

As for De Randamie (9-3), she’s the winner of five straight, which includes three knockouts, good enough to land her the No. 1 ranking at 135 pounds. The “Iron Lady” hasn’t seen the loss column since getting blasted by Nunes when the promotion was still fighting for the “Troops” back in late 2013.
