Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is just a few hours away from the UFC 257 pay-per-view (PPV) event, taking place TONIGHT (Sat., Jan. 23, 2021) inside Etihad Arena on “Fight Island” in Abu Dhabi, UAE, featuring the lightweight rematch between former lightweight champion Conor McGregor and ex-interim titleholder Dustin Poirier.
McGregor already holds a win over Poirier from the UFC 178 event more than six years back, when both combatants were trying to make a name for themselves at 145 pounds. No question they’ve each evolved since then … but enough to produce a different result? That’s just one of many questions heading into UFC 257.
