Preview! Maia Looking To Turn Back Time (And Usman)

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is back on television later tonight (Sat., May 19, 2018) with the UFC Fight Night 129 mixed martial arts (MMA) event on FOX Sports 1, which features a welterweight main event between Demian Maia and Kamaru Usman, who battle for a spot in the 170-pound title chase.

Maia (25-8) saw his seven-fight win streak come to an end against Tyron Woodley in their UFC 214 title fight. His chance to rebound against Colby Covington failed miserably, sending the Brazilian into an 0-2 hole for just the second time in his storied MMA career.

Usman (12-1) has looked unstoppable since graduating The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 21 in summer 2015, compiling seven straight wins inside the Octagon, including last January’s unanimous decision victory over European import Emil Meek.
