Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) light heavyweight title contender Dominick Reyes will try to snap a two-fight losing streak when he collides with up-and-coming 205-pound bruiser Jiri Prochazka in the UFC Vegas 25 main event TONIGHT (Sat., May 1, 2021) inside the promotion’s APEX facility in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Reyes (12-2) blasted his way to the top of the 205-pound mountain with 12 straight wins, nine of which came by way of knockout or submission. Unfortunately for “The Devastator,” his two subsequent title shots to Jon Jones and Jan Blachowicz ended in defeat.
Prochazka (27-3-1) migrated to UFC after a terrifying run through the ranks of RIZIN in Japan. “Denisa” — winner of 11 straight — lived up to the hype by destroying Volkan Oezdemir at the UFC 251 pay-per-view (PPV) event in July 2020 for his 24th knockout in 27 wins.
