Conor McGregor recently became a partial owner of the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) promotion, and the Irish superstar is taking a hands-on approach to his new responsibility. McGregor flew out to help oversee the BKFC debut event in Spain, scheduled for tomorrow evening (Oct. 12, 2024), and it’s already been eventful.
Earlier on Friday, McGregor was center stage for weigh-ins face-off between main event Lightweights Franco Tenaglia and Tony Soto. When things got a little handsy, McGregor was first in line to help separate the duo and make sure a full brawl didn’t materialize. The former double champion looked downright gleeful amidst the chaos!

While on the scene, McGregor also took a moment to call out Floyd Mayweather for a bare knuckle rematch in the most manic fashion imaginable. “Floyd’s a little pussycat,” McGregor screamed incoherently. “[Unintelligible ranting] trying to get a boxing match at 155, fight me my weight! I’m the A-side [more garbled words] Bare knuckle. McGregor Mayweather. 170 pounds. Let’s go baby. Take off the gloves and fight b—ch!”

If anyone in the comments can interpret the missing words, I will be deeply impressed and appreciative. In addition, McGregor cut an exciting promo for the event itself in much clearer fashion. “These boys and girls on this card are fighting for their life!” He exclaims. “For their facial features. This game is wild! Welcome to Bare Knuckle FC, you’re in for a treat. To be honest with you, there is no winners and losers in my eyes. When you make the walk and you put it on the line, you’re a winner. I wish my combatants well, I hope for some great fighting, and may the best man or woman win.”

McGregor appears to be a born promoter and will certainly draw some additional eyes to the BKFC Spain event. As for actually fighting, however, there’s still been no solid update as to when we’ll next see McGregor in the Octagon.
Think we’ll see him in the bare knuckle arena before he retires outright?
