Pros react to Hector Lombard’s failed UFC 182 drug test

Okay, on a scale of one to 10, this one probably wasn’t very surprising. Welterweight contender Hector Lombard flunked his UFC 182 fight night drug test, according the Nevada Athletic Commission, testing positive for the anabolic steroid desoxymethyltestosterone, but at the very least keeping tight with the theme of 2015.

In case you were losing count, that brings our total to five major fighters whose failed tests have seen the light of day since we celebrated New Years. Though while Anderson Silva’s fateful test last week drew outrage and disappointment from the pros, Lombard’s dalliance with the juice didn’t quite elicit the same response.
