The pros didn’t quite know how to react to the news of Nate Diaz’ withdrawal from UFC 244.
Nate Diaz testing positive for trace amounts of a performance-enhancing drug caught just about everybody by surprise, including his fellow fighters.
This is how they reacted.
You not the baddest mofo in the game (i am) but you are one of the cleanest mofo’s @NateDiaz209 I’ll see you nov 2. I know your name is clean. I don’t need @usantidoping to tell me shit!

“There’s only one Bad Mother Fucker in this game and he is the weight jumping, sport crossing, country invading, whiskey drinking Irish animal typing this tweet right now. Right here from his presidential suite at the Ritz Carlton in downtown Moscow. See you all soon.” — Conor McGregor (@TheNotoriousMMA)
Well well well, the plot thickens eh??

Not many people in the world know what you’re feeling right now, I do. Keep your head up man. I knew I was innocent and was willing to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars and countless hours with scientists and lawyers to prove it.

I know you feel like someone is setting you up, that’s exactly how I felt. At times its going to feel like a pretty hopeless situation but maybe it’s not, you can’t just give up and do nothing. This is a different type of fight man, you owe it to your fans to fight it.

Although Diaz has tested positive for trace amounts of a prohibited selective androgen receptor module (SARM), the fan favorite is still eligible to compete at UFC 244.
Diaz was expected to take on ex-street fighter Jorge ‘Gamebred’ Masvidal for the UFC’s ‘baddest motherf-cker’ (BMF) title in the main event at Madison Square Garden, New York on Nov. 2. Following the bombshell news of his failed drug test, however, Diaz claims to have withdrawn from the event unless the ‘UFC, USADA or whoever is F—KING’ with him fixes the situation and clears his name.
