Raw video footage has surfaced showing Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Welterweight veteran, Mike Perry, involved in a fight outside a bar / restaurant. While the root of the altercation is unknown, the video starts off with an agitated Perry yelling at a woman — who appears to be his new girlfriend / cornerman — before being asked to leave the premises.
Once outside, Perry can be seen arguing with another female companion who is trying to de-escalate the situation. A man can then be heard in the background saying, “touch her again motherf*cker.” Perry’s attention then focuses on another patron, who appears to mock Perry about the local police being notified about the situation.
The man — who Perry calls “fat” and “old” — then seems to shove “Platinum” in response, which leads to a right hand that drops him instantly.
It’s unclear at this time if the local authorities were called to the scene and/or whether or not the other man involved in the altercation — or anyone else inside the establishment for that matter — plan to press charges against Perry (or vice-versa).
UFC has yet to release a statement on the incident. More on this disturbing situation as it unfolds.
Perry was recently seen defeating Mickey Gall in the co-main event of UFC on ESPN 12 on June 27, 2020, in Las Vegas, Nevada (recap), earning him his first win in more than one year and putting an end to his two-fight losing steak.
