After the UFC 223 bus fiasco, a flyweight fight between Ray Borg and Brandon Moreno has been rescheduled for UFC Fight Night: Ponzinibbio vs. Usman in Chile.

Maybe the third time is the charm? Maybe?

Booked once for February, then moved to last week’s UFC 223, flyweights Ray Borg and Brandon Moreno have now been booked for UFC Fight Night: Chile on May 19th, per MMA Fighting. The night’s main card airs live on Fox Sports 1.

This matchup was first set for UFC Fight Night: Cerrone vs. Medeiros, but had to be shifted to April due to a Moreno shoulder injury. They were on the cusp of fighting at UFC 223, only for Conor McGregor’s dolly toss to knock Borg off the card. Borg suffered corneal abrasions after the glass window shattered, and he even provided the medical report after fans seriously thought he was faking it.

Assuming nothing else happens from now until next month, this will be the first fight for Borg (11-3) after reigning champion Demetrious Johnson submitted him with a ridiculous flying armbar at UFC 216. Moreno (14-4) has been out of action since August, when he lost a five-round decision to Sergio Pettis at UFC Fight Night: Mexico City.

UFC Fight Night: Chile features a welterweight main event between Santiago Ponzinibbio and Kamaru Usman, while light heavyweights Mauricio Rua and Volkan Oezdemir face off in the co-main event.
