Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) today announced the referee and judging assignments for the championship doubleheader at the upcoming UFC 239 pay-per-view (PPV) event, locked and loaded for July 6, 2019 inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The third man inside the cage for Jon Jones vs. Thiago Santos, contested for “Bones” light heavyweight strap, is longtime mixed martial arts (MMA) referee, Herb Dean. Mike Bell, Derek Cleary and Junichiro Kamijo will score the fight, according to MMA Junkie.

For the women’s bantamweight co-main event, featuring champion Amanda Nunes opposite challenger Holly Holm, Marc Goddard will serve as referee while Dave Hagen, Sal D’Amato and Chris Lee take their place at the judges’ table.

Considering the finishing rate between all four combatants, I would be surprised if either contest went to the cards. Regardless, the judges will receive $1600 for their duties, while the referees get paid $1900. Doesn’t seem like a lot, but it’s a lot more than what Peter Ishiguro made fighting at Bellator 220.
