sensation leading into his Bellator
52 fight with Mark Holata.
His usual pre-fight nerves were replaced by complete calm – almost
happiness.

“When I walked into that cage, I felt great,” the affable heavyweight
today told MMAjunkie.com about his Saturday win at L’Auberge du Lac Casino and Resort in
Lake Charles, La. Sparks knocked Holata out in 84 seconds. It was his seventh first-round
stoppage in an eight-fight pro career. What’s his secret?

“Man, I keep my chin down and keep my hands moving,” Sparks said with a chuckle.
