UFC welterweights Belal Muhammad and Elizeu Zaleski are set to square off on September 22.
A pair of rising welterweights have been added to the upcoming Brazil card. MMA Fighting reported Belal Muhammad has agreed to take on Elizeu Zaleski at UFC Fight Night 137 in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Currently on a four-fight winning streak, with decision wins over the likes of Randy Brown, Jordan Mein, Tim Means and most recently, Chance Rencountre, Belal Muhammad (14-2) hasn’t lost a fight since a KO loss to Vicente Luque, back in November 2016.
In a similar spot, Elizeu Zaleski (19-5) will look for his sixth straight win. Coming off of a highlight-reel spinning kick KO of Sean Strickland in his last outing, ‘Capoeira’ has notably beaten Omari Akhmedov, Keita Nakamura, Lyman Good, and Max Griffin. The 31-year-old’s sole UFC loss came in May 2015, in his Octagon debut, when he was bested by Nicolas Dalby via split decision.
UFC Fight Night 137 is set for September 22nd, with the main card airing live on Fox Sports 1. So far, a main event for the card has not been oficially announced.
